Each bag has been hand-crafted by block-printing cotton, a technique known as Chippa that has been passed down from generation to generation of artisans in India. The beautiful patterns are created using wooden blocks that are hand-carved using basic tools and manual drawings. Once the blocks are ready, they are dipped in natural dyes and the color patterns are transferred onto organic cotton. Each design involved multiple blocks and dyes, which have been carefully aligned to create a beautiful and colorful final product. The bags are then sewn using a quilt-like sewing technique.
Bags feature a zipper close and a plastic waterproof liner. Measures 7.5”x5”.
